
The mâche arrives on shelves October 15 for the first time, its cups mention "naturally rich in omega 3."
The producers plan to sell around 31 000 tonnes of mâche between November 2005 and May 2006. For this new campaign, mâche can boast of being the only vegetable to be marked "naturally rich in omega 3" on the packaging.
It is the first vegetable to bring this statement with the permission of the DGCRF and AFSSA.
On 13 September, the mince was the guest of the day "Omega3" des Entretiens de Bichat. Dr Paule Nathan took this opportunity to prove that the mince is the true alter ego of purslane. Indeed the mâche salad is great for its own Cretan home: with 100 g of corn salad, you have 12% of your recommended daily intake of Omega 3 ... only 14 calories.
