Cassis

Cassis - The fruit of delights.

Cassis is one of the most famous fruit in Europe. Consumption in France is known through the "Crème de Cassis," The second is the French aperitif.

Crème de cassis is made primarily in Dijon and Nuits St Georges in Burgundy, and other liqueur manufacture in Val de Loire, the Dauphiné, Berry and Charentes.

Several companies market the blackcurrant fruit frozen. So you can eat throughout the year, alone or in combination "red fruits". It is also for suppliers to the catering and some 7000 craftsmen bakers.
